General FAQ¶
Does ZenDRIVE S3 Access work with my existing S3 tools?¶
Yes — any tool or SDK that supports a custom S3 endpoint and access/secret keys works. AWS CLI, rclone, Cyberduck, s3cmd, and boto3 are all covered in client examples.
Is there a storage or bandwidth quota I can hit?¶
Your plan sets a throughput tier, not a per-request charge. For questions about capacity for your specific workload, ask support@clearstreamer.com.
What can I use it for?¶
Reading and downloading data from the ZenDRIVE S3 storage network — pulling datasets, streaming or serving media, syncing content down to your own systems. It's a fast, dedicated read path; it is not a place you upload to or back up to.
Can I upload or write data to it?¶
No — ZenDRIVE S3 Access is read-only. See Browsing & downloading. If you need write access, contact support@clearstreamer.com.
Which region should I choose?¶
The one nearest your users, for lower latency and better real-world throughput. See IP & DNS and Choosing a tier.
Can I move to a bigger plan later?¶
Yes — see Upgrading or changing plan. Downgrades aren't supported.
Do you support virtual-host style bucket URLs?¶
Use path-style addressing. It's the recommended, most compatible mode for your dedicated endpoint — see Path-style vs virtual-host.
Where can I see current pricing?¶
On the tiers page here, or the live pricing section on the main site.
How do I get help that isn't covered here?¶
Email support@clearstreamer.com with details — see Getting support for what to include.
Can this wiki be improved?¶
Yes — if a question keeps coming up or an answer is unclear, tell us at support@clearstreamer.com and we'll update it.
